When I first arrived, the front desk experience was frustrating. Gabby came across as annoyed and unwilling to help, which immediately made me feel like this might not be the right place for me. I don’t get paid by their office to deal with discourteous interactions, I’m paying for a service, so being met with that kind of attitude right away was off-putting. Another team member, a blonde woman whose name I didn’t catch, initially seemed a bit frustrated or put off at the idea of having to help me complete the paperwork. However, once it became clear that I was getting frustrated and considering leaving, her approach shifted. She became much more helpful and kind, and I do appreciate that she turned things around in that moment. From there, the rest of the experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, thorough, and professional. The dentist, the dental assistant or hygienist, and the gentleman who took the x-rays were all outstanding and really made up for the initial interaction. One area for improvement would be their technology. It would be helpful to have a backup option, like generating a manual code, when verification texts don’t come through, instead of having to share personal information out loud. That said, I do take some responsibility on my end. I should have followed up ahead of time when I didn’t receive the paperwork link so I could have completed everything before my appointment. Overall, despite a rough start at the front desk, the quality of care from the clinical team made it a good experience.

I have been really impressed with Leon Springs Modern Dentistry. They use evidenced based practice to address periodontal disease and get to the heart of gum recession and gum health which is exactly what I have been searching for years. The staff is efficient, professional, and kind.
